Special dinner at Heirloom Cafe

By   /   June 21, 2012  /   1 Comment

We food fanatics are barraged by announcements of special events, but two came along today that grabbed my attention.

On Sunday, July 1, Heirloom Cafe is offering a mouthwatering six course summer menu with wine pairing for $75 including tax and tip, an amazing price considering that  sommelier/owner Matt Straus is a great curator, and the fresh, simple food that comes out of his small open kitchen always pleases.  You only can sign up for this dinner on line through BlackboardEats <today@blackboardeats.com>

Here’s the menu that caught my attention.

halibut ceviche,  plantain chips

pole bean salad, pickled dates, Parmesan

housemade fettucine, mussels, pesto

Liberty Farms duck breast, spoonbread, bing cherries

shortribs agrodolce, root vegetables, balsamic glaze

peaches, lemon verbena ice cream

Hiya, I’m really glad I’ve found this info. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossips and web and this is really annoying. A good website with exciting content, that’s what I need. Thank you for keeping this site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.
