The Wolfskill USDA National Clonal Germplasm Repository is housed here with a collection of thousands of varieties of grapes, olives, figs, kiwis and stone fruit.  Its director, Dr. Johnn Preece will be giving tours of the property prior to lunch. The event is a fund raiser for the Winters Farm to School program.

Here’s the delicious sounding menu:

grilled figs with prosciutto
peppered goat cheese toasts with chopped nectarines, thyme and olive oil
socca (chick pea pancakes) with walnut and black olive tapenade

platters of burrata with heirloom tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and grilled bread

fried smelt with lemon aioli

Rominger Ranch lamb with zucchini gratin and tomatoes provencal

meringues with summer fruit and whipped cream
